After graduation from the Angela Merici High School in Trnava, she studied at the University of Economics in Bratislava, where she is the graduate from all three university levels of education and received there her PhD degree. Her dissertation thesis entitled "Metamorphoses of Start-ups on the Way to Business Success" identified the significance of the Canvas business model impact on start-ups´ performance indicators. During the third level of university study, she was involved in teaching of Management (first level) and Strategic Management (second level), where she also supervised 10 bachelor theses.

She was an active member of research teams in several projects (VEGA, KEGA). During her doctoral studies she published 6 scientific papers, 2 co-authored papers, and she gave a speech at several conferences. In her free time she loves recreational cycling, travelling and non-fiction study.
