Admission conditions and how to apply

A great thing is when a person combines his hobby with his profession. The study program of Management in Tourism and Hospitality is a proper example.

Recently the admission procedure has not been held with us, the evaluation committee assesses the results from individual years of your secondary school study in the subjects as follows (in the case you are only going to graduate):

• Management in tourism and hospitality:
  Slovak language and literature, History (or equivalent subject), Economics (or equivalent subject), foreign language.

The application have to be registerred electronically through the AIS2 system on the IM UCM website by August 20, 2024. The uploaded application in the AIS2 system must be confirmed / saved (the application status of "REGISTERED" is insufficient).

Application appendices

• curriculum vitae,
• achievements during the secondary school study (placement at local, regional, or national Olympiad and competitions), 
• confirmation on completed payment, in the case of electronic payment (bank transfer), the applicant uploads the confirmation on the completed payment, not of the movement on the bank account, as a part of the application appendices,, 
• verified documents on education:
  • The applicant, who graduates in 2024, enters the list of grades into electronic application form (from the electronic student book) for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd year of study (within 4-year study), or for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th year (within 5-year study). If it is not possible to upload the grade report, or the applicant does not upload it properly, the applicant must deliver the verified copies of the secondary school reports of the mentioned years (verified by a notary or registrar) to the IM study officer (by regular mail or in person).The applicant must deliver a verified copy of the report (verified a notary or registrar) from the last year of secondary school and a verified copy of the secondary school graduation report to the IM study officer (by regular mail or in person), immediately after matriculation examination, no later than August 20, 2024.
  • The applicant, who graduated before the year 2024, must deliver the verified copies of reports (verified by a notary or a registry office) from 1st to 4th year (4-year study), or from 2nd to 5th year (5-year study), together with the school leaving report to the IM study officer (in person or by regular mail) no later than August 20, 2024.
