After graduation from the Secondary Library School in Bratislava, she worked at various positions at the Regional Library of Juraj Fándly in Trnava, later she continued her work career in public sector as well as in private financial sector. In 2004, she joined the Faculty of Materials Science of Slovak Technical University in Trnava, where she graduated in the field of Engineering of Production Quality. During her external university studies, in 2005, she started working at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava at the position of Director of the University Library, and at the same time as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences UCM in Trnava, where she was in 2016 awarded the PhD degree in Public Policy and Public Administration. In 2020, she completed Supplementary pedagogical studies to perform pedagogical practice as a teacher of professional subjects at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava.

She deals with issues of quality management in services, personnel management, and regional development. She worked as a research team member in various projects (VEGA, KEGA). She was the project manager of the OPVaV–2011/5.1/01–SORO project entitled Development of Information and Communication Technologies at UCM in Trnava. She has published a scientific monograph entitled Local self-government in the context of quality management, a chapter in the monograph Modern Strategy and Challenges of Management in Cultural Institutions, various scientific and professional articles, and actively participated in organizing of many domestic and international conferences. She has supervised more than 50 bachelor and diploma theses. In her free time, she likes cooking, travelling, and working in the garden.
