He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, where he successfully completed his doctoral studies in Finance. Throughout his professional career, he has concentrated on strategic management, project management, public administration, and the sports sector.
In the past, he worked as a senior state advisor at the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and later at the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic. In this position, he specialised in financial control and audit in sports organisations, the creation of control processes, and professional training for auditors. His professional experience also includes serving as a project manager for the Slovak Business Agency and the National Bank of Slovakia, as well as a project evaluator for the National Bank of Slovakia Foundation, with a focus on developing financial literacy. He also worked as a business consultant for small and medium-sized enterprises at the Slovak Business Agency and as an expert/specialist at the Slovak Centre for Scientific and Technical Information, where he was responsible for implementing the national project "Universities as Drivers of the Knowledge Society" at two universities in Slovakia.
Since July 2025, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Institute of Management at UCM in Trnava. His publications concentrate on the areas of innovative performance of national economies, sports financing, and the effective utilisation of public funds.
